Adult Education
Sunday School: One avenue that many choose to travel to develop a deeper relationship with God is through Sunday School. Offered between the two Sunday morning worship services, classes are available for people of all ages, though it is important to note that people of all ages are invited to attend classes of any age.
Senior Boosters: One of the foundational classes of CCC, this group continues to seek biblical guidance and direction for those in the “twilight years.” Using “The Upper Room” devotional as a starting point, topics are designed to encourage one another to grow in their faith and overcome the difficulties life brings.
Builders: A long-standing group in the life of CCC, this class follows the International Sunday School Lessons Series. Those in this class (mainly ages 55+) strive to, individually and collectively, use their time, talents, and resources to contribute to the spiritual and numerical growth of the church and God’s kingdom.
Fellowship: Made up of those mainly in the mid-stage of life (ages 40-65), the Fellowship class’s mission is “to learn, to grow, to share, to give, to take…in Christ’s love.” Through Bible-based teaching and interactive discussion, a variety of topics relevant to those in the class are covered.

New Foundation: New Foundation is a class of adults seeking to build up the foundation of God’s church through worship, service, and fellowship. Topics and teaching vary with the primary focus on life application of God’s word.
Explorers: Developed out of a study on basic Christianity, this is a cross-generational group (early 30’s & 70’s, singles and couples) providing a place for people to “fit in.” Working together to learn from each other to have a better understanding of God’s will and plan for life, studies include books of the Bible as well as topical studies.
Icthus New Life: This class seeks to encourage and develop faith during the newly-married and young family phase of life. Topics are centered around addressing issues, from a biblical perspective, that those starting out in this new adventure of marriage and family experience

Life Skill Seminars
Life has a tendency to come at us fast and from a lot of different directions. There are specific things that many of us go through that it would be of great benefit to learn more about. Scheduled at various times throughout the year in a variety of formats, that is exactly what “Life Skill Seminars” are all about.
Marriage, Parenting, Finances, Serving in the Church, Sharing One’s Faith with Others – these are just a sampling of topics that life tends to throw our way. And, frankly, we could all use a little insight into how we can navigate these challenging areas in a more effective way. It is our goal to discover together biblical answers to these, and many more, facets of life and apply those answers practically. |

One-on-One Relationships
The most life-enhancing thing a person can do is invest the time and energy to develop a deep and personal relationship with God. Relationships with other people can be a very valuable resource in that process. In fact, the Bible says in Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
At CCC, we believe deeply in the value of one-on-one relationships. There is a level of growth, accountability, insight, and acceptance that can be found in these types of relationships that may not be found elsewhere. We desire that relationships that contribute to one’s spiritual growth be found in the life of the church. |
|
It is our insistence that these relationships be approached for a godly purpose with authenticity in a biblical and godly way. Relationships can be established for specific areas of spiritual growth or for times where life circumstances encourage a greater level of support and care.
Whatever the span of need, the goal is to develop a relationship that points a person to the grace of God and encourages growth and development in that relationship.
