COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Level I Courses

The Four-Week Evangelistic Bible Study is open to everyone and consists of four one-hour sessions. The sessions can be arranged as one-on-ones or small groups, always at a convenient location. This study explores (1) the origin of the Bible; (2) the theme of the Bible; (3) the person of the Bible and (4) the relevance of the Bible.

Accountability and Mentoring Opportunities hold Christians accountable to one another. By teaming together with someone, a believer can continue to grow and face the day-to-day problems he

or she may encounter with the support of a friend.

Level II Courses

Basic Beliefs Course is a one-on-one course which looks at the basic Christian Doctrines. This is a 15-week course which meets every other week.

Women’s Discipleship can be tailored as a one-on-one or group course. This course, taught by women to women, gives them the insight they need to grow in their faith. With the many pressures women of today experience, this program will help you understand

what God’s calling can mean in your life. The length is tailored to

a person’s needs.

Spiritual Gifts Training will help you identify and understand your spiritual gift(s). This training consists of three one-hour sessions designed for one-on-one or small group settings. This is a very practical course to help an individual know where they “fit in” to

the local church.

Level III Courses

Hermeneutics (Biblical interpretation) is a one-on-one course to learn how to properly interpret the Bible. This study requires a commitment of six sessions. A prerequisite is the Basic Beliefs Course.

Advanced Theological Training is a one-on-one, one-year course taught by theologically qualified individuals in our church. This course requires a high level of commitment and covers Bible doctrines, theological issues and church leadership, to name a few subjects. It is designed to enable an individual to think theologically and be prepared to lead in the local church. Prerequisites include both the Basic Beliefs and Hermeneutics courses.
