The mission of the Christian Education Department of CCC is to establish an effective plan for the teaching of the word of God to children, youth and adults to the end that God’s truth will be applied to their daily lives in transforming ways. It is the hope and goal of the Christian Education committee to be relevant and relational in providing ever-increasing opportunities including:
o Sunday School Classes for All Ages
o Small Groups
o Bible Studies
o Life Skill Electives
o One-on-One Relationships

2 Peter 3:18 states clearly, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…” We believe that God desires and intends for every person to develop a deeper understanding of and relationship with him. And, we believe that development takes time and effort on the part of the individual.
The church can never replace or substitute the personal study and learning of an individual. Therefore, the opportunities that exist in the Christian Education Department are intended to supplement the time that is being spent individually pursuing spiritual growth.
We desire to partner with parents as they train their children in the ways of God; to walk alongside families as they navigate the difficult paths that many families face; to join with every person to help them in their spiritual journey.
